Start Your Day Out Right

Posted on 05. Dec, 2009 by Jeremy Reis in Productivity

Improve your productivity during the day by starting it out right. Follow these tips to start each day out right:

  • Go to sleep at a decent hour and wake up early.
  • Start your day out with the right size breakfast. A small breakfast will make you hungry mid-morning; a large breakfast will make you sluggish in the morning. Find the right size breakfast to give you energy in the morning and last you to lunch.
  • Take your vitamins.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the morning – hydration keeps your energy level high.
  • Make a list of three things y0u MUST accomplish today. This will be your focus throughout the day – accomplishing these tasks is crucial for your day to be successful.
  • Limit the time you spend on the Internet in the morning – work towards accomplishing your goals for the day.

Following these tips will help start your day out right!

Ask yourself each day: How can I serve someone today?

“Do what you enjoy and the money will follow” should be, “Do what you enjoy and the money won’t matter.”

Kiss your wife first thing every morning and last thing every night.

People over things. When your focus is on people rather than material accumulations, you will go farther in life, with the right people.

In agreement with Joyce, I’ve always taught my children, “Things don’t matter, people do.”
