If you’re raising money for charity, here are some tips to help you increase donations for your favorite organization:

1. Place a message in your church bulletin to help raise funds for your charity.
2. Distribute fundraising forms to parents of kids on your kid’s sports teams.
3. Ask your local restaurant to sell gift certificates for your charity.
4. Some restaurants will hold a night where you and your group can serve tables to raise money for charity.
5. Setup a booth at a local parade or farmer’s market.
6. Create a raffle for a homemade quilt or large donated prize.
7. Ask your local politicians to assist you with fundraising: they’re professionals at it!
8. Hold a wine and cheese party to raise money.
9. Find some old items in your house and sell them on eBay.
10. Don’t forgot: simply ask people to donate.
